The Netherfield in Battle
Five-time winners of the Flowers in Bloom competition, the exterior of this popular pub is stunning. Built in 1725, the Netherfield Arms stands proud in the quaint village of Netherfield and oozes charm and character, creating a welcoming atmosphere as you approach.
The interior has been decorated to a high standard; a superb inglenook fireplace crackles away, exposed brickwork and oak beams producing a traditional English pub look that entices you in. 19-year owners Mike and Caroline are keen to preserve the history of the building and ensure the decor fits in with the antique feel of the building.
By far the biggest draw to the Netherfield Arms is the splendid á la carte menu; the excellent chef’s source ingredients from local suppliers to ensure quality and freshness in every dish they produce.
